Women's Ministry

Women
WHAT IS MCCA WOMEN?
MCCA Women is the umbrella organization formed to enable Methodist women in all the congregations of the eight (8) districts of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas to relate and fellowship with each other, while deepening their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and enriching the total life of the home, the Church and the community through fellowship, training and service.
The organization promotes contact and relationships with similar-minded national, regional and international bodies. Consequently, MCCA Women is an integral part of the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women (WFM&UCW) as a unit in the North America area of the Federation.
As a constituent part of the MCCA, the Organisation links all the Medodist Women’s organisations in the eight Districts of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas: namely Bahamas/Turks & Caicos Islands, Belize/Honduras, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, Panama/Costa Rica and South Caribbean.
Every female Methodist member in good standing within the MCCA, whether she belongs to an organized group or not, or any member of a women’s organization in the Methodist Church is eligible for membership. The fourth Sunday of June of each year is observed throughout the Connexion as “MCCA Women’s Lord’s Day”.
